The ZagiZigi progress blog post… thing

Filed under: Crappy 3D, Crappy Art, Crappy Games — Tags: , — Sophie @ 8:22 am

Haven’t posted anything in the last week, reason why is last saturday I realised the Gamma4 event had till today accepting submissions, so I made a game. I was lucky my first prototype was pretty fun in a matter of an hour or so, so I had the rest of the week to make it as polished and cool as I could,  here’s the process as I know plenty of folks like that kind of thing (I know I do):

01_it works

02_Mr Firework

03_low poly

04_almost done

05_screeny

oh hey, I just realised I never used that brick texture in the end! made a better one you should see lower down ^_^

06_another screeny

07_graphics

08_more graphics

09_lab

10_levels

I had a lot of fun baking tiling normal maps this week btw ^____^

11_unity

now that’s a much better brick texture! :D

12_sewers

13_more

14_onoes

15_onoesB

and that’s it, if it’s selected you will be able to see it at the gammaIV event at this years GDC, and if not I’ll be working on a bigger, better version for the web release :)

  2. I think it is cool you saved documentation and published it. It helps us to realize that it is possible to be one person and actually finish a game. :•)
