The Linear RPG

A 48 hour game made for an RPGDX RPG making jam. the set theme was ‘LOFI’ which I interpreted by trying to strip rpg gameplay to its core components.

    Best thing you ever made.

Please try to understand the irony, in that when you set out to make a bad game on purpose, it still turned out better than the Elder Scrolls.

This just goes to show how addictive the RPG core mecanics are.

By the end of the game, I was standing on the last node, holding the Right arrow key, which continues to trigger battles, just to see how “far” I could go. I reached level 50 and I don’t know why I did that…

    :/
